Visitor In My Garden!

Outside painting the back of our house yesterday, I heard some comotion in our trees. I looked arounds and Mr. Iguanna decided to pay me a visit. Not sure he came to visit me, he is eyeing my cayenne peppers and pot full of lettuce.

Hey, I am going to check out the rest of your garden, but first I think I will check out the pool.

Ah, nothing like relaxing poolside in the sun.

Well, gotta run. I will be back for some lettuce and a glass of wine soon!

Cheers!

Cool pics Deb, our wildlife consists of raccoons, squirrels and other city vermin.

Love the iguanas visit Deb. I will always remember when we were in Mexico snorkling and arrived back on shore, stood up and found ourselves surrounded by what seemed to be hundreds of iguanas sunning themselves ...big and small. They even had one at the hotel where he was well fed on pizza!!!

Je's a rather handsome dude! What's his name?

The real question is: did he see his shadow? That must be Florida's version of a groundhog!

Wow, great photos of Mr Iguana! Do you think cats like to eat this things, or do you think Mr Iguana would win that fight?

Hey Peter,I miss the squirrels here, but cannot say I miss the raccoons!

Hey Valli, yep these guys will eat anything in the veggie section!

Hi Katie, no name yet. Any suggestions?

Cool idea Dr. Debs! Yes he did see his shadow, winter?

Hi Kitikata-san, actually the two do not cross each others paths. It would not be a nice encounter!

That's so wonderful! I would love to live in a place where I got a visitor like that. Thanks for sharing that with us. Hope this guy visits you often.

I AM SO JEALOUS! All we get are the little lizards here. Although I have a new friend who has decided to make my door fram his home - a GIANT leaf bug! I've seen him around for a while, then last night Roberto and I saw him near our outside stairwell. We said how cool we thought he was, I Guess he took it as a BIG compliment because now he wants to come in and be our pet.

What a curious little visitor :-)

All we get are the local cats and some birds. Although we had a very territorial robin recently - I tried to get a pic but he was too quick for me!
