A Winter's Day In Key West

It's a winters day in Key West - 53 and sunny. Perfect for my first day of blogging to the world !

What I would like to talk about in this blog are the wines that I drink and the little bit of vegetable gardening that I attempt. I drink wine every day of my life and I would like to share my findings with you. My target wines are ones that are under $10.00 a bottle and mostly white wines. Oh I do still like the reds, especially on days like today when the air is clean and crisp. But being in this climate, I like the white's as they can be chilled and quite refreshing.

Veggie gardening in Key West. Since I have a somewhat small yard, I do my gardening in containers. Cayanne peppers and tai peppers are my most successful. But I'm always attempting to produce the perfect tomato. So I will be chatting on my "ups and downs" of container gardening in the Keys.

And for you folks who will venture to our little island for some R&R, I will try to keep you up to date on some of the activities and great places to have lunch, dinner or that most satifying "ice cold beer".
Until tomorrow, cheers !
