I could certainly have used some of your lovely fresh sage in the chicken pot pies I made yesterday...I had to make do with poultry seasoning! lol I did, however, use some of the WINE! And, Deb, again, thank you so very much for that wonderful wine list you sent me...I just realized that you might not have seen the little note I left after your comment regarding the wines, and I want you to know how much I appreciate you taking the time to help me out. :-)Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00114357903650884040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604699536263702995.post-37171125722407489122007-10-16T13:42:00.000-05:002007-10-16T13:42:00.000-05:00Thanks Gloria! Try one in a pot and see what it does!

Hey Valli, I remember those days when I lived up north. I did sage and basil one year in the house in a sunny window. They did OK, but not like being outdoors. But at least I did have a little bit of freshness in the kitchen!winedebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16891313852429967357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604699536263702995.post-66690875444364937462007-10-15T22:07:00.000-05:002007-10-15T22:07:00.000-05:00Our days of herbs in our pots are numbered with th...Our days of herbs in our pots are numbered with the cooler weather upon us. I wonder if sage would do well in a kitchen pot? Parsley seems to be only contender.Valerie Harrison (bellini)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10205920305666658534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604699536263702995.post-29674890256947535882007-10-15T14:55:00.000-05:002007-10-15T14:55:00.000-05:00I cannot grow sage here! I have a bed of just sage with 4 - 6 plants in it at a time. Usually only one healthy and big enough to harvest...And I love it...so frustrating!Katie Zellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17498599461583826030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604699536263702995.post-84220488669344987572007-10-15T10:21:00.000-05:002007-10-15T10:21:00.000-05:00Deb I had heard that salvia is so nice for many th...Deb I had heard that salvia is so nice for many thigs, but now I know more, I would like to have a plant, this is good time (Spring here)So nice articlexxxxGloriaGloria Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03055543111865966546noreply@blogger.com
